He is recognized as an expert in biodiversity, environmental and socio-economic and cultural surveys in Indonesia. He was with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) for 3 year, worked for a small conservation and community development NGO in Papua, project manager for Conservation International’s Papua program and now deputy Chief of party for USAID IFACS.

He sets up PT. Ekologika Consultants in 2010 and is Director until now. PT.Ekologika Consultants is a consulting company providing natural resource management and survey services that has provided HCV assessments to several logging companies, oil palm and industrial plantations, including companies that have passed the FSC certification standards. He is a member of Jaringan Nilai Konservasi Tinggi Indonesia. Through with CI, he has developed integrated management approaches for timber a plantation company in Papua using an optimization and hierarchical approach
